POLL: Which Mobile platform should iVerse develop for next?

October 7, 2008  |  Comics  |  10 Comments

iVerse is looking for your feedback!

The mobile landscape is quickly changing, and the iPhone had inspired many others to try an “App Store” concept of their own. RIM, the maker’s of Blackberry, and Google are both throwing their hats into the ring with their own App Store concepts – each with their own benefits and drawbacks.

Rumor has it that Windows Mobile will be getting one as well very soon.

Each of these platforms present their own challenges, and if and when we choose to develop for another platform, we’ll want to expand slowly, to ensure the best possible product.

So – we want your feedback on which platform to develop for next! Please take the poll below and tell us what you think we should work on next, after our iPhone development is complete!

iVerse is coming to Wizard World Texas on November 7th – 9th!

We’ll be launching our first titles officially at the convention, and you’ll be able to stop by our booth to see them in action on the iPhone.

iVerse will also be hosting a panel at the event to discuss our new titles, content partners, and other industry organizations that we’re going to be working with.

We’re very excited to be participating in the largest comic convention in our home state, and we hope to see you there!

Wizard World Texas will be held at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, TX. You can find out how to get tickets right here.

iVerse Digital Comics to launch in November!

I’m happy to announce that Digital Comics from iVerse will be available in November 2008. We’ve signed deals with some great content partners and we’re very happy to be adapting their comics into Digital titles for iPhone and iPod Touch.
We’ll be announcing more about what our initial offerings will be soon. In addition to adapting existing titles from creators and studios, we’re also hard at work on some “iVerse Originals” that we’ll be able to showcase in more detail as well.
I hate to keep saying “we’ll reveal more soon!” but contracts take time – and we have to get the ink dry before we start naming names. :)
So far, though, the response from the comics community has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel like we’re going to be able to offer some really compelling content from some high quality publishers and creators.
